There is a tweak which can help speed up your broadband internet connection if you are using
Windows XP Professional.
Ø Click Start, Run.
Ø Type "GPedit.msc" and press enter.
Ø Expand the "local computer policy" branch
Ø Expand the "administrative templates" branch
Ø Expand the "network branch"
Ø Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler" in the left window
Ø In the right window, double-click the "limit reservable bandwidth" setting
Ø On the setting tab, check "enabled"
Ø Change the "Bandwidth limit %" to 0
Ø Close and reboot
